I've been using this on my 2012 windows7 laptop which I was about to replace over a year ago .... it did what the ad stated. Added new life to my old pc... I just bought the 16GB to give it a try. I've been very happy with it. I don't consider myself to be computer savy but the promps were easy for me to follow. I'm 72 and what I know has mostly been self taught

I came across Xtra-PC just before I decided to throw out my old, dead Dell Inspiron. Could not load Windows any more, the hard drive was erratic. Following the very simple installation instructions, it was up and running. am delighted with this little gadget. I can now leave my new laptop in my home office hooked up to several hard drives and a large external screen and have the Xtra-PC in my bedroom for late night emailing, working on a Google doc or use the included Open Office and play my DVDs or watch Hulu and Youtube for entertainment.
